Applications

Where mango butter is commonly used

These are common uses in the industry. They are not a promise that our product suits your formula. Only your own testing can confirm that.

Body butters, balms and lip care

Mango butter is widely used as a base in anhydrous products such as body butters, balms and lip products, where a solid fat with a melting point near skin temperature is useful.

Bar soaps

Soap makers use vegetable butters as part of the oil blend. The saponification value of our lot will be on the certificate of analysis so formulators can calculate their recipes.

Lotions and creams

In emulsions, mango butter is used as part of the oil phase. Suitability at your use level should be checked in your own formulation and stability tests.

Hair care

Conditioners, hair masks and styling butters often include plant butters. Again, fit with your formula needs your own testing.

Contract manufacturing and private label

Contract manufacturers that blend butters for several brands can buy by the carton or by the pallet once production starts.

Limits we want you to know about

  • Food use needs a food-grade product and food safety controls. We are not offering a food grade at launch.
  • Pharmaceutical use depends on pharmacopoeia and manufacturing standards that we do not yet meet. We will say so plainly if you ask.
  • We make no claims about health or therapeutic effects. Any claim on your finished product is your responsibility under your local rules.

Need data for your formula?

Tell us which values matter to you (for example melting point or saponification value). We will include them in our lot testing plan and share results once available.
