Why larger orders cost less per kilogram
Every export order has fixed costs: export documents, customs clearing, lot testing paperwork and transport to the port. On a 25 kg order those costs add a lot to each kilogram. On a 2,000 kg order they add very little. Our tier prices pass that saving on. They come from our cost model, not from a discount we plan to take back later.
Other terms to agree
- Payment terms: agreed per order. New customers usually pay part in advance and the balance against shipping documents.
- Lead time: stated on each quotation. Kernels are collected in season and stored, so we supply all year.
- Freight: we can arrange sea or air freight on request and quote it separately.
- Samples: terms confirmed when samples from a tested lot are available.
