Mango butter, supplied in bulk

Mango butter is the natural fat from the kernel inside the mango stone. It is solid at room temperature and softens near skin temperature. Our raw material is the kernel left over when mangoes are pulped for juice and food.

INCI: Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter

Literature values come from published studies of Pakistani mango kernels (ACS Omega 2023; Raie et al., JAOCS 1981). They describe mango kernel fat in general. They are not a specification for our product.

Storage and handling

General guidance for vegetable butters is to store sealed, cool, dry and away from light. Our own storage and handling instructions will be confirmed with the safety data sheet.

Availability

We are preparing our first production. Kernel collection is planned for the 2027 mango season (June to September). Samples from our first tested lot are expected after that.

Why we do not show numbers we have not measured

Specifications such as melting point, free fatty acid and shelf life depend on the kernels, the extraction method and refining. Publishing generic numbers would mislead you. We will publish our own values with the first certificate of analysis.
